Lugarno Progress Association meets every two months in February, April, June, August, October and December. 

The Executive Committee receive a wide variety of issues for General Business, many of which require prior research and preparation. It would be appreciated, therefore, if issues to be considered for General Business could be forwarded in writing to the Committee two weeks before the General meeting so that appropriate action can be taken. Please note that the Committee can be contacted by e-mail, or post or Lugarno Hardware.

Whilst the main objective of the LPA is to act in the best interests of the ratepayers and residents of Lugarno, we would point out that in some instances residents’ concerns can be dealt with by contacting relevant organisations directly. Should satisfaction not be achieved then the LPA may be able to offer support.

Membership is $10 per household and can be paid at:

  • Lugarno Hardware, Chivers Hill Shopping Centre
  • Yates Newsagency, Chivers Hill Shopping Centre
Or, membership can be mailed to our PO Box 4021, Lugarno, LPO NSW 2210.

Annual elections are held every February at the Annual General Meeting and the following executive positions are available:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Minute Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Committee member - maximum of 5 to be elected.
Nominations can be sent to the Secretary at PO Box 4021, Lugarno LPO NSW or nominated on the night of the Annual General Meeting.
